HW2 P19.1 part d.
I am getting F as a complex number when I try to solve the radical!! What might I be doing wrong here. Anyone else having this problem.
Plot out F v/s M in excel and then for the value of M see what you get for F and the fs=f0*F. You will get two plots for each case of load because for each load you get a different Qe. Hope this helps.

OK I guess this had to be solved by plotting M v/s F. But I get the same fs in both cases of load.
I solved for F, only to get it as an imaginary number. Yusuf, what did you do about this?
